Our Name: Under Construction

Philippians 1:6 -- "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

As the verse describes, we believe that no matter how far we get through our achievements, successes, big bucks, relationships, ambitions, etc., we are constantly under construction by God's grace through learning more about and having a relationship with Christ.

Started in 1982 with a group of students gathered round a piano, Under Construction has matured into a group that has sung for Harvard, Boston, New York, Washington D.C., California, China, Korea, Barbados, and more!

Combining musical excellence with a mission to spread the good news of Christ's love for everyone, UC is made of people who just simply love to sing and are curious to learn more about Christ. We are unique because we look for something more than just music-- Christ's love fills us with joy and is the reason why we sing!
